President Trump’s Impeachment Fox News Updates

The year 2019 ended with the U.S. House of Representatives voting for and passing articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump. Now that the new year is underway, many people are waiting to hear what is happening with the impeachment via Fox News updates.

Current Status

While Trump impeachment Fox News updates seem to be coming in every few hours, most of these updates are surrounding Nancy Pelosi and her not sending the articles of impeachment to the Senate. Most of the criticism of Pelosi is coming from Republicans, but some Democrats are also getting tired of the hold up.

Other impeachment Fox News updates have covered the Democrats’ claim that Trump is using Iran to distract attention from his upcoming impeachment trial, and Trump’s son’s Eric’s comments blasting the Democrats for suggesting that Trump’s actions and comments regarding Iran are being done as a distraction.

Of course there have also been Trump’s own comments about National Security Advisor John Bolton knowing nothing about Trump’s July phone conversations with the Ukrainian President. With all of Trump’s comments being viewed with suspicion, one has to wonder if this comment was meant as a warning to Bolton to keep his mouth shut, or if Trump really believes that Bolton has no information about what was said during that phone call.

Bolton has said previously that if he is subpoenaed, he will testify during the impeachment trial. Many believe Bolton may have a lot of information to give.

Other Impeachment Fox News Updates

Other updates regarding the impeachment Fox News has released recently include Trump’s claim that Pelosi is trying to illegally affect the 2020 presidential election by delaying the handing over of the articles of impeachment. It is hard to tell if there is any truth to this statement.

While Fox News is continuing to give a great deal of coverage to the impeachment, it is clear that the American public may soon be losing interest if something isn’t done soon.

Having already been advised by many comments of those in the Senate, this impeachment hearing – whenever it takes place – will be little more than mock trial to satisfy the letter the law. In fact, many Americans are wondering why there will be a trial held at all.

When and if the impeachment trial does occur, it is sure that Fox News will be there along with all of the other major news programs giving continuous updates on what is happening.

Whatever the results of this impeachment trial may end up being, the results are sure to leave a sour taste in the mouths of many Americans, including both Democrats and Republicans, who will be left feeling that the whole thing was rigged from the beginning.

It does make the common citizen wonder if our highest officials in the nation can’t conduct a fair and impartial trial based solely on the evidence provided. We can only wait and see what happens next.
