The Russian Invasion Kills More TV Reporters

August 15th, 2008 By: Jonathan Wilson | Tags:

Again the Russian and South Ossetian Troops near South Ossetia begin to fire upon innocent Turkish TV Reporters. Georgia has mostly Turkish TV Reporters filming the war because they are the closest to Georgia. It is reported that one reporter was shot and blinded.  There are reports of a Journalist from Holland being killed.

There is video of Turkish TV Reporters being shot:

Some translations:

“Levent has been shot”

“Don’t move, if we move they might keep shooting”

“I am bleeding from my arm really badly.”

“Try and make a white flag, do we have anything white?”

Here’s a collection of some footage from the war:

This is the reality of the war and it is surprising why the media will not show much of it. Apparently, the Olympics are just too important. Quite frankly, if there is a war going on, the Olympics should be cancelled/delayed or countries at war should be excluded, or am I mistaken in thinking the Olympics were suppose to be about peace on earth?

Some people don’t realize how serious war really is:

I’m sure this was a military target:

And does this not remind you of the story of appeasement that the British had conducted with Adolf Hitler regarding the Sudetenland?

I am beginning to wonder what indeed was the UN’s job?

After this post was posted, a day later, CBS4 and FoxNews also showed the video. I’m not sure if CNN showed it though. Coincidence? Or perhaps everyone just sent it to each other :S.
