Hillary Clinton to Speak at the Convention

July 31st, 2008 By: Claudia, Assistant Editor | Tags:

Hillary Clinton is expected to speak at the democratic conventionon on the second night, which coincides with the 88th aniversery of women gaining the right to vote.
While a great priveledge this pretty much guarantees she WON´T be the vice-presidential nominee. Why? Because the vice-presidential nominee is expected to speak the next day, and it seems almost impossible that Clinton would speak two days straight.

PUMAS will be pissed, but then, they always are.

Yah, sure. Pumas are always ‘pissed’.  And why not? We got Ludicras baby, we got Bernie Mac calling "moms and sisters" his fave "family ‘hos’ and we got Barry Soeroto-Obama telling us to "get over it" cause you need me, babes.  Yah sure, like you need a dog infested with fleas. The arrogant very presumptuous Presumptive Nominee better get over the fact that his uniquely "paris hilton" rock star popularity is fadin’ away revealing his anorexic resume and misogynist credentials. Better he apply for the rapper-wannabe job at SNL with Ludacris giving Him references!  Wait till the Pumas start roarin’ at the Voting Booth…

LMAO memi, very impressive. You are the utmost of PUMA, so stereotypical I hestitate to think you could be real.

My favorite part about PUMAS? They claim to support and trust Hillary Clinton, and then totally ignore her pleas to stick with the Democrats even though she’s not the candidate. Shows they are less pro-Clinton than they are anti-Obama, since they won’t listen to the candidate they pretend to support.

Pro Hillary or Anti Obama.  Either way it translates to a headache for Obama.  2 percent of the democrats not voting this year could offset the 2 percent that are pissed off at the GOP and will vote for Obama over McCain.

What should be happening is that the Obama people should be working hard to bring the PUMA types into the fold.  They are not.  They are just laughing at their anger.

Top 10 reasons why Hillary should be president.  Even if you don’t like the video.  I always loved that song and Catie does an awesome job singing.  She should be on American Idol.

COUNTRY ABOVE PARTY … Obama is proving to be a weak candidate. I hope there is a floor vote at the convention, and a stunning upset whereby Hillary Clinton replaces Barack, as the Democratic nominee for November … I’ll certainly vote for her, but if Obama continues to be the Democratic nominee … I’m voting for Senator John McCain in November.

If Hillary were to maneuver to claim the nomination on the convention floor as you suggest, it would expose her concession and all of her campaign appearances for Obama as pure lies layered on top of backroom game-playing unprecedented in the modern history of American politics. The resulting backlash would certainly award the election to John McCain in a 40+ state landslide.

Go for it. I like Obama, but I don’t dislike McCain. So if the Democratic Party wants to commit hari-kari just to feed yet another Clinton ego, well, they deserve what they get. I never thought they were stupid enough to do something even dumber than what they did in 1968 and 1972 again, but this would really top all that.

Anyway, the superdelegates (who would have to acquiesce to any plan to let Hillary claim the nomination at this point) know that this would be an act of party suicide, so it will NEVER happen. These are calculating politicians who know that a backstab of this magnitude could never be mitigated, covered up, or disavowed sufficiently to reduce the catastrophic retaliation from Obama’s half of the party. In short, dream on, PUMAs. :)
