A Partisan Divide in the Blogosphere
This paper confirms my own feelings and suspicions about the blogosphere and about blogreaders. Centrists and moderates don’t read blogs as much as liberals and conservatives do, and those liberals and conservatives visit only left-wing / right-wing blogs. People want to read opinions they agree with.
This blog, as is TMV (the paper comes via them), is an exception in the blogosphere; most other blogs are highly partisan. Whenever you visit those blogs, you know what their take on the news will be. Yet, time and again, people visit them. Why? Because they enjoy reading opinions they agree with. The far majority of blogreaders - you all excluded of course - do not want their opinions and views to be challenged; they want them to be confirmed. Time and again.

Agreeing with you all the time would be so boring Michael
When I want a god laugh, or I want to see what lies or rewrites of history the far left comes up with next, I go to DailyKOS, Democrat Underground, and Huff Post. Huff post though in fairness has a few honest writers.
