Ron Paul Plans His Own Convention
Just when you think that the man can finally be ignored, he does something completely idiotic which results in him getting some new headlines: ‘Maverick GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul has booked an arena in Minneapolis for a “mini-convention” that could steal some of John McCain’s thunder just days before he accepts the Republican nomination.’
“Steal some of John McCain’s thunder”? How’s that? Doesn’t this mean that Paul supporters will have their own little party and not go to the Republican Party convention? How’s that “stealing some of John McCain’s thunder”? That, it seems to me, is something McCain would endorse.
If Paul and his supporters - all three of them - go to the RP Convention, it’s quite possible that they’ll create a tremendous chaos. They’ll probably insult those who dare disagree with them, and they’ll generally try to spoil McCain’s time in the spotlight.

Let?s examine this smear article piece by piece. "Just when you think that the man can finally be ignored,…" Let?s just assume that in a free society the media must ignore select political figures as if their thoughts and ideas in this free society need not apply or aren?t welcome. "he does something completely idiotic which results in him getting some new headlines" This something would be holding a convention to analyze what the GOP used to stand for, compare that to what McCain stands for then conclude there is a serious problem….. Yes completely idiotic. "Maverick GOP presidential candidate " No Maverick is not misleading at all…….. Its lets the people know who he REALLY is. (Internet sarcasm) "mini-convention" I?m not sure who thought up this brain buster buzz word but perhaps they are unaware of the massive crowds that Ron pulls in. "their own little party " Once again assuming that Ron Paul supporters are not in the millions but in the "all three of them " just in case people arent already aware that the media already doesnt report on these crowds. "it?s quite possible that they?ll create a tremendous chaos. They?ll probably insult those who dare disagree with them, and they?ll generally try to spoil McCain?s time in the spotlight" Yes TREMEDOUS CHAOS! Like opinions and voices that can be heard darn it! How dare people in this "Free Nation" (my own quote) do as they please and THINK! Poor smear article… Go Ron Paul
Even Ron Paul would support your free speech rights to offer a hit.
the bottom line changes in our nation will only occur when we support the law of the land and the only people willing to do what needs to be done are a few members in Congress a few in the Senate and for the most part the rest are Ron Paul supporters….
I have been a party leader in the GOP for several years and I have always supported limited gov and the last three years upon hearing that “W” stated clearly that Iraq was not linked to Iraq I have not supported “W” at all. I even edited the news report from Fox for other party members to see and hear “W’s statement and no one except for me even spoke out about it…. yet, when Clinton was in office the GOP sought impeachment of Clinton and now it’s time to do the same for “W”.
I have supported Paul for the last 5 years and will continue but I bet if you watch the news the crowd at Paul’s meeting will be full….
We hope you will begin to support the law of the land and limited gov and the sooner you set aside your attitude and read and study the facts then our nation will begin to heal one person at a time.
Was this written by a bitter seventh grader?
Okay, I’m sorry. That’s a bit insulting to seventh graders.
But why was it written at all?
So… three people (should we all show up of course) get together for an "completely idiotic" "little party"… so what?
(Steal John McCain’s thunder? John McCain has thunder? Hahahaha!)
So why worry? Go to the big gop convention, ride the waves of John McCain thunder while wearing paper hats and conducting important, cutting-edge party business.
Us three Ron Paul supporters sit around and "insult those who dare disagree with us" down the street. Just kidding of course!
Actually, drop in… it’s not about insulting anyone- it’s about a message. The message is about that old document I’m sure you are tired of hearing us mention: the US Constitution.
I hope you take time to read it sometime- you may agree with it’s refreshingly radical ideas and ideals that haven’t been followed for some time.
The reason you’ve been finding it hard to ignore RP is that he’s the only presidential prospect who’s NOT a complete idiot. Take away the money and the special-interest backing of the GOP hierarchy, and the only "thunder" you’ll hear from McCain is the sound of prune-juice doing it’s job. Why has the land of the free become so infested with journalists who hate freedom and have no stomach for the kind of "straight talk" that America REALLY needs to hear?
This one is not even worth the web space.
