Matt Lauer Visits Turkey
Below follow several videos of MSNBC’s Matt Lauer visiting Istanbul, Turkey. Be sure to watch it so you get a better idea of just how beautiful this unique city is.
As most will know, I visited Istanbul this year and I plan to go back within two months time or so. It’s a wonderful, energetic city. It has some of the most beautiful mosques in the world. Nature too is beautiful. When you stand at the Bosporus at night (or better, go to a café to drink a beer outside), you can see the lights of the city shining like stars. Not to mention the Bosporus Bridge.
If you ever visit Istanbul - and I know that assistant editor Claudia may very well go there this Summer - you have to take a boat trip. It is incredibly cheap, but also an incredible experience. You will see Istanbul - a city of roughly 15 million souls - in all its glory. It can only do one thing to you; leave you breathless.
The second video is enlightening as well; they show some of Turkey’s most beautiful cities, villages and lands. Just watch it. You will instantly understand why I fell in love with this country the first time I visited it.
On top of that, it truly is the cradle of civilizations.
The Blue Mosque; you have to visit it. Same goes for Hagia Sophia. If you are not touched by either, I’m afraid you lack a sense of beauty and spirituality.
H/t my good friend SSA.
Claudia, like everyody, is more then welcome here in Istanbul.
I can provide here a tour to meet party leaders of the CHP, MHP and AKP as well some sightseeing about the greater Istanbul. She can meet business leaders from the Turkish business groups, as well from foreign business groups as well. She will meet Americans, Dutch, French, Germans, Greeks, etc. who made a iving in Istanbul.
The videos were extremely informative, and it’s great that some people are finding out about the Tourist’s secret haven called Turkey.
