This is unbelievable. It may be a community website, but it’s also the official webpage of Senator Obama. They should monitor constantly and delete highly offensive posts like this one. There’s simply no excuse for tolerating bullshit like that. They raise hundreds of millions of dollars in a couple of months time, my guess is they can afford to hire one or two people to monitor this freaking website.

There’s nothing offensive about it. It’s time for the USA to question its relationship with Israel, the Jewish Lobby, and Zionism. What? Do you want another war for Israel? Looks like it’s gone. As someone who’s spent a great deal of time monitoring these kinds of posts, I’d say keep in mind that moderators are not around 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Obviously, it’s much more important to an Obama or McCain site to have more around the clock moderation, but the fact is that you can’t always see it right away.
It irks me that some talking heads on TV (like Bill O’Reilly) keep going after user-generated commentary at places like the Huffington posts. Yet, on the day the Teddy Kennedy went in to the hospital, I was reading Michelle Malkin’s article on it, and while she was being respectful, some of her commenters were not.
The comments were on there for hours, and may still be there. So, case in point right there. All sorts of vicious material coming from both sides.

To judge by the dates, Mr. Merritt, I would say that the moderators haven’t been around since mid-May at the latest. Senator Obama has allowed his website to become a happy playground for Jew-haters, and that has determined my own course: I will make sure that as many of my friends as I can reach are aware of just what has found shelter in the Obama "community;" next week I will resign my membership in the Democratic Party, and through the summer and the fall I will work as an independent for John McCain.

Michael, this is a terrific comment. Thank you for the common sense. If common sense were more common, this world would be a better place.
Jewish magazines and pundits celebrate the fact that of the "100 most influential Americans" list this year fully 62 are Jewish. And yet it is still considered an outrageous act to talk about how much influence Jews have in America? What the heck is going on here? Should we just not talk about Jewish influence at all? Is that the objective?
Is it wrong to posit a Christian or Islamic lobby in America? Is it wrong to talk about how the Christian majority influences politics and candidates? The hypocrisy is astounding.
This is a great opportunity for everyone to see how a zealot works and how so many people are anxious to find dirt where there is none. If anyone cares about the truth you might want to visit this guys site. he is not exactly playing with a full deck. To blame Obama or anyone that runs a community board for everything a passing nut says is a little unfair don’t you think.
Looks like it’s more of a coordinated smear campaign than any actual anti-Semitism on Obama’s supporters part. The post and majority of comments are a cut-and-paste job from an actual anti-Semitic site, not that a little thing like facts will get in the way of the Obama-haters.
The antisemitism of Obama not just in his websites but in general speeches and past speeches, is just shocking, I don’t see why any Jew would even consider voting for Obama.
