Funny how Rachel can only dig in deeper instead of admitting that a failed policy for the sake of securing some more oilfields for his buddy Dick Cheney doesn't mean the rest of us should have our freedoms dwindle based on false patriotism or should I say propaganda. As honest Abe said you can't fool all the people all the time and sometimes you can't educate a fool. 80% believe the US is heading in the wrong direction under Bush policies, that means we have 20% trying to hold onto the justification for Idiocracy...

HiFly is obviously suffering from BDS. No one in America cares for Iraq or Iraqis. If they did, they would have realized the true Weapon of Mass Destruction was a 5'7 butcher named Saddam Hussein and they would be supporting our soldiers and yes our president (or at least support candidates who believe in truly finishing what we started). Also, I believe if either Hilary or Obama becomes president we and the world will be too busy feting them to care.
HiFly and company just want W the Republican out of office. They don't care about Iraq or our soldiers. Just watch how they will not react to what's going on once their Savior arrives.
W is more in the league with Truman, a man who also suffered low support for getting us involved in Korea (33,000 Americans dead in 3 years), which did not lead to democracy (which was one of the reasons we went apart from invasion) but to two dictatorships lasting about 20 years before they recieved a represenative govt.We don't worry about going there anymore because no one gets killed in battle. Eventually, this will happen to Iraq. I have great doubts about it turning into Vietnam because the reprecussions would be too great.
Also, I have great fears for this country. Even though this war is tough with higher than expected casualites, this is nothing compared to battles past. Will we be so stung by Iraq that we will let worse things occur?

Olberman didn't go far enough, he stated that "War Crimes" for those in his administration is a likely posibility when this all shakes out, but I think Bush is likely to one day find himself facing the tribunal for more then 'flawed' information and laying waste to the Iraqi nation. For him to say a Democrat to be elected next would only hasten another attack on the US is pure arrogance and shows Bush has no understanding about the fact he is likely one of the most hated presidents in US history. That fact alone shows his true character as he continues to strip those from positions who disagree with him or any Democrats who offer a choice to exit the hell he has created in the Mideast.

1 - Keith Olbermann goes ballistic on tenuous grounds.

2 - Dog bites man

Even before the age of litigation, #2 was more surprising than #1.
