It's also about power and status within the inner circles of what will be the majority party in both houses of Congress, and the power and status within those houses, and what the platform of the party will be for the next four years.

The winners in that internal party poker game will collect their rewards regardless of who the nominee is, and regardless of who wins the White House.</description>
