Actually, given their position they wouldn’t piece the larynx; more likely the carotid artery (much more lethal)

Hah, great minds think alike, Chris- I was going to post almost identical comment earlier before I got sidetracked in a different discussion. The pins actually might be too short to get to the carotid at that angle but maybe the jugulars? It’s a bit off my area of expertise (domestic animals) but that looks like about the location where I’d attempt to hit the jugular if I had to extrapolate from the species that I’m used to dealing with.

Even worse than the objection is the fact that I looked up a diagram of the neck before posting the photo. I clearly didn’t look it up well enough.

I guess smacking these guys on the back of the head for being stupid is probably NOT a good idea!

CNN-style writers are seen everywhere and they always forget their professional creed and mock greatness not sharing their own view of value. Even if I told you people that these soldiers are willingly being trained like in such way, you just wouldn’t believe it and call me a liar. As a Chinese myself, I believe these people are mostly loved by the common as a sample of self-disciplined and fulfiller of civil duty.

  6. This is radically insane. And who are you calling "CNN-style writers" Kuan? You mean Western I presume?
