Might there be some middle between the “right wing in America” you describe and the left of center “norm” on the college campuses. all three of my kids felt that by and larger their profs were left of center. The irony of all this is that like the 60’s they react to their politics by moving to the right (a little)

I’d suggest that the “right wing” in America would love the left of center reality on college campuses to continue because 1) it will remain a useful punching bag 2) by the nature of student and teacher it will facilitate more right of center college grads.

Out of the thousands and thousands of hard working, sane, competent teachers you single extreme examples.

The right doesn’t like teachers, the environment, minorities, homosexuals, other religions, artist, musicians (not County), etc, etc.

Aside from strict obedience, wars, patriotic music and bashing people different than you what DO you people have to offer America??

So you would suggest a sort of affirmative action based on ideology?

I had a lot of liberal professors during my time at college, and I still consider myself a moderate. Go figure.
