Huge Berlin Jewish Cemetery Vandalized

April 30th, 2008 By: Michael van der Galien | Tags:

In what could be interpreted as yet another sign that the situation in Germany is deteriorating, police suspect that Antisemites have vandalized a Jewish cemetery in Berlin. ‘On Monday night, unknown perpetrators knocked over more than 20 headstones.’

“A political motive cannot be ruled out,” said the police in a statement. They have, of course, launched an investigation.

To make matters even worse, the Spiegel adds: “Reports of attacks on Jewish cemeteries are not uncommon in Germany, where synagogues and other Jewish institutions are often under 24-hour police guard.”

The main question is, of course: Islamists or neo-Nazis?

The cemetery requested federal funding, by the way, to renovate the tombstones / graves. Many graves are in bad condition, because the relatives of those buried in the cemetery died during the holocaust.

I’ve heard that anti-semitic attacks have increased due directly or indirectly to immigration. The direct effect being that anti-semitic Muslims are coming in and attacking Jewish symbols, ans the indirect one being that the high immigration levels are swelling the ranks of bone-headed neonazi groups who are going after Jews.

Ahh neonazis and radical islamists, so many flavors of garbage to choose from eh?
