You are not understanding the topic, which is pretty understandable as most American’s do not really understand the topic until you spend some time on the border.
A large portion of Mexicans feel that has already happened. That feeling is one that the map depicted in the post is what Mexico rightfully is. That the United States stole the land from the Mexicans.
Back to the ad - if they are targeting Mexicans, it is a brilliant ad. First it speaks to that large population - and Second most American’s would probably snicker at it, but not understand how deep that belief runs in our neighbors to the South.
So you are saying that most Mexicans desire to invade the United States and
claim that land for Mexico. I guess they would forcibly remove or eliminate
the Americans living in those States. Is this what you are implying?
If so, how should Americans living in those States counter the future
occupying force lying across the border?
Seriously, you need to take a refresher course in “progressive”
counter commenting because you are actually inflaming the situation
instead of downplaying it as you intend.
As Intersted said it’s a great ad. The map is close to what was Mexico prior to the Treaty of Guadelupe Hidalgo of 1846. Why do they call us gringos?

Maybe you can pull out a history book and look up the Treaty of GH. The ad map is similar to the Mexican map pre-1846. Or is history progressive?

Mexico, when the country lost the war against the US in 1846, the United States had the option to claim the whole country , yes , Rudi666, the whole stinking Mexico as part of the United States by right as a victorious nation . The only reason why they could not do it because they had problem with a little thing called slavery that exists in the South back then and adding Mexico as a territory would not help solve the question of slavery and add to the racism that exist in Congress in 1846 , the politicians went for the land that will soon composed the American Southwest instead . So Rudi666, thank the racism of American politicians in 1846 that prevented Mexico in becoming a part of the United States .
