Mitt Romney on Morrissey’s BTR Show

Ed Morrissey had the honor to interview Governor Mitt Romney for his Blog Talk Radio show Heading Right. It’s an interesting interview. You can listen to it via the player below. The point on the war on terrorism is very good. He once again indicates that he knows what he’s talking about and that, although the US military has to act sometimes, there’s more to this war than the use of force.

With regards to whether or not Pakistan has to become a full democracy, he put it quite well as well: “broader democratization” is what’s needed. That doesn’t mean full democracy, it means more for civilians, but there’s no need to turn Pakistan into the Asian USA.

It’s a short but interesting interview.
