They were willing to do what they had always done, namely, anything they could get away with. Despite Senator Hillary's attempts to put on a "good guy" face in the years since, the Clinton team has ALWAYS played a take-no-prisoners game. As I said when I <a href="http://stubbornfacts.us/politics/2008_election/a_re_rising_pool" rel="nofollow">posted on this</a> a couple of days ago, if Senator Clinton wants to play the "being First Lady qualifies for executive experience" card, she'd be well advised that it comes with some very heavy baggage--and she helped pack the suitcases. Those high negatives she has were <i>earned</i>. If, as seems likely, she emerges from the primaries as the nominee, it's all going to be dredged back up <i>ad infinitum</i>, without the distractive shielding of Billy Boy's infidelities to hide behind.
