Hillary Clinton on Meet the Press

Below the fold follows the video of Hillary Clinton’s appearance on “Meet the Press” on Sunday January 13. With regards to Hillary’s remarks about Martin Luther King Jr. and Barack Obama comparing himself to the great civil rights leader are dead-on. She’s completely right that there are important differences between Obama and King, one of them being that MLK actually fought for what he believed, that he was locked up in jail, that he didn’t just “hold speeches” but protest marches… MLK suffered but accomplished much. He wasn’t a media hype, he wasn’t a rock star. Obama is.

    Another candidate who isn’t ready to admit mistakes or flawed thinking on Iraq. Of course not - no one who supports it unquestioningly or out of sheer calculation deserves criticism on Iraq.
