Hamas MP Says ‘Jews Are Creating Artificial Earthquakes’
Ok, this is just sad.
Ahmad Abu Halabiya: The truth is that some of these earthquakes may be artificial, while others are natural. What is dangerous is the excavations underneath Al-Aqsa Mosque and the network of tunnels that was built. These have begun to threaten the foundations of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Therefore, any earthquake – whether natural of artificial – measuring more than 5.5 or 6 on the Richter Scale will definitely have an impact, unless Allah decrees otherwise. This will have an impact on the foundations of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. This is where the danger lies, whether the earthquake is artificial or natural. In any case, it is not impossible for the Jews to generate an artificial earthquake one way or another, in order to accomplish their goal of destroying the foundations of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, as a step towards the construction of their false temple, God forbid.

we also drink blood from little children
Uhh… he said that they could create one, not that they are. While it’s implausible that they would do such a thing, it’s certainly possible given that Israel has nuclear weapons.
lol Chris. Yeah. Never unwilling to defend Hamas huh?
Anyway, Sashal: yes, I saw a video of that on Memri as well once actually.
No Michael, I’m just reading what he actually said according to your source.
I certainly hope you’re not suggesting that we can distort and fabricate quotes from people as long as we don’t like them.
Yeah Chris. Uhu.
"The truth is that some of these earthquakes may be artificial, while others are natural."
Yep. Nothing to see here, move along.
He did say "may be."
He’s insinuating it… not saying it
Yeah Chris. That’s already a bit less positive than you said in your first comment, isn’t it?
Anyway, continue. It’s good to have one person who’s defending Hamas no matter what.
It’s good to know that this site has moderators that are always willing to defame the visitors of their site. (And distort quotes)
See, we can both play that game
Some people in the Arab world also blame the Jews when it rains on a nice sunny day. I have heard Muslims look at the sky and say, "Damned Jews," when they get stuck in the rain. The world attacks the Jews for wanting a homeland, and then ignores the inherent anti-Jewish aspects of modern Arab and modern Islamic culture.
I think that people can draw their own conclusion Chris.
Yes, calling it "culture." It’s a major issue right now. Anti-Semitism is increasing in Europe as well. Why?
Immigrants.
The dude is nuts. Us sane people know Jews poison water supplies.
The nutty quote actually distracts from the actual issue, the Al-Aqsa Mosque. I was in Jerusalem this summer, and you can’t spend more than 5 minutes in that town without hearing an earful about how the "others" (palistinians or jews, depending on who you talk to) are plotting to take over their side of the town. The Al-Aqsa Mosque is a prime example. It’s one of the holiest sites in Islam, supposedly the place where Mohammad was physically carried into heaven. It’s also supposed to be the burial place of Adam (yes, that Adam) and what’s more important for the Jews, the site of the Temple of Salomon, where the ark of the covenant was kept, the hands down, holiest site of Judaism. The very poorly named "wailing wall" is supposedly all that’s left, and there is a sizable proportion of the Jewish population of the old town, who are overwhelmingly Orthodox and Ultraorthodox, who hate the fact that the Muslims now control that place.
Enter the archaeologists. Under the Temple Mount there is supposed to be a treasure trove of ancient history and ruins. For that reason Israeli archaeologists have started excavations. A delicate task, made positively demonic by the political climate. The (extremist) Muslims are saying that the archeology is just a cover, what they’re really doing is purposfully weakening the foundations of Al-Aqsa to provoke it’s destruction. On the other hand the (extremist) Jews are accusing the Muslims of digging themselves, trying to provoke the destruction of Al-Aqsa so they can blame it on the Jews, cause fury in the rest of the Arab world, provoking the surrounding countries to invade. The upshot is that if that temple falls, each side already has a story to blame the other, and things will get very very bloody.
"The upshot is that if that temple falls, each side already has a story to blame the other, and things will get very very bloody."
So people like us, who likes it when people are alive and happy, have to hope a building that’s being dug under by two groups of somewhat batty folks does not go kaput?
I actually think Al-aqsa is a telling symbol - neither side wants to admit the legitimacy and strength of the orher side’s emotions regarding something they want exclusive rights to, neither side is willing to give the other any benefit of the doubt and both are rushing to turn it into a populist battering ram to deny the claims of the other side and get a neat talking point.
Meanwhile, the whole building is about to collapse on them, killing them and denying their kin any chance to discover anything good hidden beneath. Depressing.
Seems like this would be a good use of the UN- I have no idea if they have any kind of committee in existence to deal with this, but if not they should- a committee to monitor and oversee archaeological relics of the world.

I believe in the artificial earthquakes, look at china today, Olympics, Tibet and the earthquake, I’ve studied a brief on EM waves non- stationary amplitude and frequency procedures and would say it’s totally plausible and feasible
