    They’re here…or at least they’re starting to show up.

    Haven’t heard any cicadas yet, but if you look you can see some trees covered with dozens or hundreds of cicadas or discarded larval exoskeletons.

    So it’s probably only a matter of a few days before the racket starts.

    I don’t have a camera at the moment, so it may be a while–but I’ll try and get a disposable one this weekend and take a picture.

    Although the expected thunderstorms might wash some of the cicadas away. Though I imagine more will come.
